A 65-year-old Jewish man has died after an altercation at a pro-Palestinian rally in Thousand Oaks, Jewish community leaders announced on Monday.The incident unfolded around 3:15 p.m. near the busy intersection of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Westlake Road where, according to fire officials, authorities first received a call of a "fight in progress" with an elderly man "down."According to the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, the victim was "struck in the head by a megaphone wielded by a pro-Palestinian protestor."Video posted to social media shows an elderly man lying on the ground after purportedly being struck with a megaphone at a pro-Palestinian rally in Thousand Oaks, California. Two people were transported to the hospital in critical condition after San Bernardino County Fire crews pulled them out of a burning home in Hesperia on Monday.The two individuals, whose identities weren’t released, received advanced life support treatment before they were transported to a local hospital, a news release said. Boylan was the only person to face criminal charges connected to the fire.He could get 10 years behind bars when he’s sentenced Feb. 8.Relatives of those killed hugged one another and wept outside the courtroom after the verdict was read.
