The Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game franchise says it won’t allow artists to use artificial intelligence technology to draw its cast of sorcerers, druids and other characters and scenery. D&D art is supposed to be fanciful. The province’s police watchdog is investigating after a pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a police car at a west-end park.Toronto police said the incident occurred at the south end of Earlscourt Park, near Davenport Road and Lansdowne Avenue around 2 p.m. Sunday. “The pedestrian has been transported to the hospital via emergency run,” police tweeted. “Injuries are serious.”Police indicated that the incident is unrelated to demonstrations taking place at the park. CHICAGO — An eight-year-old girl is dead after she was shot in the head by a known offender in Portage Park Saturday night. According to police, a known individual approached a group from across the street near the 3500 block of North Long Avenue around 9:40 p.m. and shot the girl in the head.She was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition where she was then pronounced dead. 2 injured after being electrocuted on CTA tracks in Oak Park on their way to Lollapalooza Another man on the scene got into physical altercation with the offender and tried to disarm him.
